Vincent Okumagba Emerges Interim Chairman Of Unified Supporters’ Club

Nigerian football fans can sigh a relief as National Sports commission and Nigeria football federation have unified factionalized Nigeria Supporters’ Club.
Since 2014 World cup in Brazil,Supporters club have been factionalized as result of unresolved differences.
Super Eagles supporters club being led Vincent Okumagba,Rev. Sam Ikpea has been leading Nigeria Football Supporters Club, Football Fan Club of Nigeria was led by Kemi Popoola while Abayomi Ogunjimi leads Authentic Nigeria Football and Allied Sports Supporters Club.
Most recently All Sports Supporters’ Club being led by Barrister Johnson Dagana.
Many enthusiastic Nigerians have made several attempts to unite warring supporters’ clubs but all to no avail.
On February 13,2025, National Sports commission and Nigeria football federation brought all the presidents of the Supporters Club to the NFF office in Abuja to elect an Interim body that will lead a unified group for one year.
The election being spearheaded by NSC and NFF produced Vincent Okumagba as the interim Chairman,Peter Abraham as Vice Chairman, while Sunny Gullong emerged as Secretary. Amaka Okediadi is the Financial Secretary, while Johnson Dagana is the Treasurer.
Nigerians cannot now boast of united voice from the supporters’ club ahead of the crunch world cup qualifier against Rwanda next month
