NWFL:Delta Queens Show Dominance As Team Thrash FC Robo Queens 4-1

The Delta Queens FC totally dominated FC Robo Queens with a 4-1 victory in the NWFL Premiership Match Day 6

 

The match which was played inside the main bow of the Stephen Keshi Township Stadium, saw that the first was all about defensive play on both teams, and ended goalless.

 

On resumption of the second half and just 3 minutes into the second half, Princess Adams Jerssy No 11 kicked things off with the first goal in the 48th minutes, thanks to an assist from Omeje Priscilla jersey No 6.

 

Just two minutes later, the MORE Queens captain, Goodness Ihuoma Jerssy No 20 found the net for the second goal in the 50th minutes, with Destiny Itobor Jerssy No7 assisting.

 

It was now Priscilla Omeje Jerssy No 6 turn to score the third goal in the 59th minutes, assisted by Destiny Itobor. FC Robo did manage to get a penalty, which was converted by Favour Nwakocha in the 89th minutes, making it 3-1.

 

Meanwhile in the extra time after 90 minutes, Destiny Itobor wrapped it up with a fourth goal, assisted by Dagogo Favour Jerssy No36 .

 

Speaking after the match was the Delta Queens Fc Coach , Coach Peter Dedevbo who heaped praises on his team, saying that although the team was nervous in the first half, but after a pep talk and change of tactics in the second half, the MORE Queens were able to put in spirited display and playing to instructions.

 

Coach Peter assured the Delta Queens Fc fans that the team will continue to focus on winning their remaining matches, and continue to pick up the 3point until they get to the top of the summit, and qualifying for the Super 6.
