NPFL:Imama Anticipates Tough Encounter With Sunshine Stars

As the matchday 23 fixture of the ongoing Nigeria Premier Football League Season between Abia Warriors and Sunshine Stars draws nigh, Umu Chineke has stepped up preparations ahead of the clash on Sunday.
On paper, pundits and league followers have predicted a possible victory for the home side, given the precarious position Sunshine Stars find themselves on the league log at the moment.
The visitors are 17th on the league log with 24 points, while Abia Warriors are 5th with 33 points.
However, despite his optimism of a possible victory for the hosts, Abia Warriors gaffer thinks that the game will be a tough one.
“…most importantly we have to believe that we have some couple of wins, and I think everybody is rearing to go. Everybody has the belief that it is possible we’ll be able to get victory come Sunday. We know it’s going to be a difficult game no doubt, whenever it is that we are playing against these teams struggling at the moment, you know it’s going to be tough. They’re gonna come and give it their all, so, we know that, we have to give it our all for us to get victory”, Imama said.
The former Nigeria national Under-23 Head Coach said that his team will not underrate the opponents, rather his boys will give their all during the game.
