NPFL:Harrison Produces brilliant performance In Ikorodu City 4-1 Thumping Of Kano Pillars In Lagos

Ikorodu City made a brilliant return to winning ways, with an all round team performance, after they thumped Kano Pillars, 4-1, in a Matchday 21 Mid-week encounter.

 

 

The clash which was played at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Lagos, saw the Oga Boys took an early lead inside three minute, when Shola Adelani head home a delightful cross to put the host 1-0 ahead, before Harrison Austin made it 2-0, with a close finish in the 20th minute.

 

 

However, Abba Adam continued on his impressive scoring form, as he pulled a goal back for Kano Pillars to reduced the deficit to 2-1, in the 37th minute.

 

 

In the second half, it became to look like a one-sided affair, with an unfortunately Incident happened for the visitors, when midfielder, Rabiu Ali turns in the ball into his net on 54 minute, off Harrison Austin’s cross to restored Ikorodu City two-goal lead.

 

In the 74th minute Ayomide Cole made it 4-1, after he capitalized on a defensive mixed up from Pillars’ defenders to struck home the fourth goal, as Ikorodu City secure an impressive victory in front of their home supporters in Lagos.
