Remo Stars midfielder, Tochukwu Michael, has expressed optimistic ahead of his team’s clash against Abia Warriors, on Wednesday, in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Matchday 21 Mid-Week encounter.
The clash which will take centre stage, at the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne, will see the Daniel Ogunmodede’ led side have the opportunity to still maintain its top spot lead with a victory against the in-form Abia Warriors side.
The exciting midfielder, who had a brilliant performance, in Remo Stars’ 2-1 away win over Akwa United, last Sunday, believes his team has what it takes to secure a positive result in the encounter.
“We are confidence going into this game tomorrow,” Tochukwu said.
“We have been working hard in training, and we are ready to give our all on the pitch. of course, We know Abia Warriors are a good team, but we are prepared for the challenge.”
The midfielder further revealed that the team is determined and focused on getting the needed result and to maintain their top spot position on the log.
” Yes, We’re just focus and determine on getting every single point,But firstly we take it game by game and one step at a time till the end of the season.
