NPFL:Wasiu, Aimufua On Target As Kwara United Adds More Wounds To Enyimba Woes

It was an interesting game for the neutral, As both Wasiu Alalade, Junior Aimufua on target for hosting, Kwara United, as they secures a comfortable 2-0 win over Out-of-form Enyimba FC ,on Monday, at the Kwara Sports Stadium, llorin.

 

 

The encounter, which was a rescheduled Matchday 16 clash, saw the host added more wounds to the people’s Elephants woes, when they took an early lead inside six minute, through a spot kick by Wasiu, after Shola Abdulraheem was brought down inside the box by Enyimba’s defender.

 

 

Before Aimufua doubled the lead 2-0, for Kwara United, in the 38th minute, when he slotted home a brilliant close finish, by beaten off goalkeeper Zali Abdullahi, who was in goal for Enyimba.

 

 

The defeat added more wounds to the Stanley Eguma led side, as they are winless in their last four games in all competitions.

 

 

With the victory, Kwara United jumped three spot to 11th position on 26 points after 19 games, with an extra game in hand still to play. While Enyimba FC still remain in the ninth position on 27 points.
