The WonderLions Tophive League continued with thrilling matches at C.A.C Grammar School, Akure. Shine Football Academy maintained their dominant form, securing a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Rock Crystal Soccer Academy. Alonge Tobi was the hero of the match, netting both goals for Shine FA, while Fadairo Fisayo scored the consolation goal for Rock Crystal.
SGIC FC edged past Haslat FA with a narrow 1-0 win, courtesy of Olabode Benjamin’s decisive strike. The result places SGIC FC second on the league table, just two points behind Shine Football Academy.
In a tightly contested game, Young Star played out a goalless draw against FA Brave Eagles, leaving both teams struggling to gain momentum in the league.
