After a thrilling beginning for Edo Queens FC, in one week of the Nigeria Women Football League NWFL, the defending champions will on Wednesday January 22nd, 2025, file out against Heartland Queens FC of Owerri at the Dan Anyiam Stadium Imo State.
The Benin City based ladies last week Wednesday had a convincing 5-0 win over Abia Angels of Abia State in a sensational league opener. With three maximum points in their pocket, Edo Queens will like to carry their dominant role to Dan Anyiam with an air of superiority to prove that they are a team to beat. While Heartland Queens will be looking forward to redeeming their image in front of their teeming fans after begin pipped 1-0 by Ekiti Queens in their first away match.
