Jide Fatokun Joins Sudanese club, Al Merrikh

Home-based Super Eagles midfielder Jide Fatokun has signed two years contract with Sudanese club, Al Merrikh SC.
Fatokun was instrumental to Home-based Eagles’ qualification for 2024 African Nations Championship.
Fatokun started both legs of the qualifiers against the Black Galaxies of Ghana.
Fatokun was member of Sunshine Stars team between 2018-2020.
He left for Kwara United in 2020 and spent three seasons with Afonja warriors.
He joined Remo Stars in 2023 and made about 50 appearances for the Ikenne-based side.
Fatokun will join ex-Enyimba FC goalkeeper Ojo Olorunleke who joined Al Merrikh SC last season
