Moses Simon was on target as Nantes were held to a 1-1 draw by their hosts Saint-Etienne at the Stade Geoffrey -Guichard on Sunday afternoon.
Simon opened scoring for Nantes after 14 minutes.
The Nigeria international has now scored five goals and registered five assists in 16 league appearances the Yellow Canaries this season.
The winger was replaced by Benjamin Thomas 19 minutes from time.
Augustine Boakye equalised for Saint-Etienne in the 86th minute.
Both clubs remain in the relegation zone following the stalemate.
Nantes sit in 15th position, while Saint-Etienne occupy 16th spot with 17 points each.
