Nigeria’s Super Eagles Midfielder, Alex Iwobi, was twice on target for his English premier League side, Fulham FC, as they suffered a 3-2 away defeat to Westham United, on Tuesday night, at the London Stadium.
The Nigerian International delivered yet another man of the match performance for Fulham but it wasn’t enough as they suffered defeat on the road, in the premier league mid-week encounter, scoring his 7th goal of the season and adding a brace to highlight his best campaign.
Despite his brilliance, Fulham’s unbeaten run came to a dramatic halt as West Ham capitalised on defensive mistakes, leaving Iwobi’s efforts in vain, Sportgister.com.ng reports.
With his 7th goal of the season, Iwobi has now boasts over 10 goal contributions (seven goals and three assists) for the first time in his career—an impressive feat halfway through the season.
