NPFL has announced that Nasarawa United FC will be docked 3 points and 3 Goals for the assault meted on center referee, Musibaudeen Ibrahim in the course of their NPFL25 MD18 game in Lafia against Rivers United on December 22, 2024
The club will also pay a total of N3,000,000.00 for various offences during the game
The fine breakdown:
* N1m for pitch encroachment by fans, supporters
* N1m for failure to ensure proper conduct of team and supporters, and
* N1m for failure to provide adequate security
The Laifia city stadium will be closed to fans until the state box is barricaded and security improved within the stadium
The club has 48 hours to appeal the judgement
