Barcelona produced a remarkable comeback to defeat Real Madrid 5-2 in an enthralling Clasico and claim a record-extending 15th Supercopa de España title. Raphinha shone with two goals and one assist, giving Hansi Flick his first trophy since he took charge in May.

Madrid went ahead early, in the fifth minute, when Kylian Mbappe capped a blistering counter-attack. Barcelona quickly responded, however, with Lamine Yamal slotting home patiently after being teed up by Robert Lewandowski. Barca took control as two quick goals put them in control, Lewandowski slotting home a penalty, then Raphinha powering in a header from Jules Koundé’s cross.

Alejandro Balde added a second before the half-time break while Raphinha got his second shortly after the resumption. When Wojciech Szczesny was shown a red card after bringing down Mbappe outside the area, Barca were down to 10 men. His replacement, Iñaki Peña, had no chance as Rodrygo hammered the resultant free-kick home.

Despite some late pressure from Madrid, Barcelona were comfortable in seeing out the win.
