Super Eagles Zaidu Sanusi has returned to the pitch after being sidelined for almost a year
Sanusi suffered an acute cruciate ligament injury in FC Porto’s league game against CF Estrela in February 2024.
He missed all Super Eagles AFCON 2025 Qualifying matches.
He also missed Super Eagles2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against South Africa,Benin Republic and Rwanda.
He replaced Pepe in the 61st minute of league cup defeat to Sporting Lisbon.
He is expected to be in action when FC Porto play Nacional on the 15th of January
