Sadiq Umar, who recently joined Valencia on loan from Real Sociedad started the match from the bench
Valencia led through 9th-minute goal from Sergi Canos before Diego Lopez doubled the advantage before halftime
Umar replaced Hugo Duro in the 58th minute but couldn’t find the back of the net.
Valencia will now shift focus to their upcoming La Liga clash against Sevilla at the Estadio Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán, aiming to build momentum from this victory.
