Bayelsa Queens Football Club Chairman, Pastor Robin Angonimi Apreala has expressed profound gratitude to the Prosperity Government, led by Senator Douye Diri, for the unwavering support for the team and general commitment to sports and youth development.

Pastor Apreala said he is happy with the support the club is getting from the Governor, who he says has been making commendable investments in sports infrastructure, programmes and initiatives aimed at empowering young people.

“Governor Diri’s impact on sports and youth development in Bayelsa State is unparalleled,” Pastor Apreala said.

The soft spoken Amasoma sports administrator said the Prosperity administration’s efforts have transformed the sports landscape, providing opportunities for the youth to excel and showcase their talents.”

Apreala highlighted the Governor’s dedication to creating conducive environments for athletes to thrive and his commitment to sports development is not limited to infrastructure alone.

Pastor Robin Angonimi Apreala also thanked the Deputy Governor Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, for his fatherly role in making sure that all Bayelsa Queens needed are given to the team, for the Commissioner for Sports Champion Baraladei Daniel Igali, Pastor Apreala said his care and advise towards Bayelsa Queens FC is unwavering.

Pastor Robin Angonimi Apreala added that with the care and love shown to the club, the Prosperity Girls will make the State proud in the forthcoming 2024/25 NWFL Premiership season, by winning the trophy.
