A renowned Super Eagles Stakeholder and Chairman Emiloju FC has joined other well-meaning Nigerians to congratulate Shehu Dikko on appointment as chairman National Sports Commission.
The federal government on Wednesday scrapped Ministry of sports and re-introduced National Sports Commission
Shehu Dikko,served as the chairman of Defunct LMC between 2014 and 2022.
Alhaji Musiliu Jimoh Alao commended President Tinubu for putting a round peg in the round hole and believed Shehu’s appointment will transform our Sports.
“I want to warmly congratulate Shehu Dikko on appointment as NSC Chairman.
“Dikko is a veteran sports administrator whose wealth of experience will transform our sports for better.
“l will commend President Tinubu for appointing a sports technocrat to lead National Sports Commission.
“Also, On behalf of all supporters’ clubs,l felicitate with Alhaji Shehu Dikko.
“l wish him all the best as he takes the mantle of power at NSC
Dikko served as chairman of various committees in the NFF, including marketing and sponsorship, and was a member of the CAF Inter-Clubs Committee.
He is still a member of the FIFA Football Stakeholders Committee.
