Nasarawa United technical director Kabiru Dogo has expressed disappointment with the outcome of the club’s matchday eight fixture against Sunshine Stars.
The Solid Miners suffered a 1-0 loss to Sunshine Stars at the Otunba Dipo Dina Stadium in Ijebu-Ode on Sunday.
Opeoluwa Olufemi grabbed the only goal in the game.
Dogo congratulated Sunshine Stars for the victory.
“It’s not a good result for us, however, I am proud of the team’s effort,” Dogo stated in a post-match interview. I congratulate Sunshine Stars on the win, even though very tight.
“We will regroup and focus on our next game at home against Kano Pillars next Sunday where I believe we will bounce back stronger. Our focus remains on achieving our Season’s goals.”
