Ikorodu City secured their first-ever NPFL victory against Bendel Insurance in style, dominating from start to finish.
In the first half, Ikorodu City created numerous scoring chances, wasting at least four clear opportunities.
The second half saw Ikorodu City come out smoking, with R. Ayemwenre opening the scoring in the 48th minute.
Midfield maestro Kelechi Onwe doubled the lead in the 55th minute with a stunning strike.
Toheeb Ajeyigbe sealed the 3-0 win with a brilliant goal in the 74th minute.
This victory marks a turning point for Ikorodu City, ending their two-game home losing streak against Rangers International and Nasarawa United.
