Super Falcons captain, Rasheedat Ajibade is in the running for Spanish Liga F’s Player of the Month award for September.
Ajibade was nominated for her impressive displays for Atletico Madrid during the month.
The 24-year-old scored two goals and also provided two assists in two league appearances during the month under review.
The winger registered an assist in Atlético Madrid’s 2-0 opening day win over Granada.
She scored twice and also recorded another assist in Atletico Madrid’s 4-0 win over Valencia.
The other nominees for the award are Barceona’s Ewa Pajor, Real Madrid’s Caroline Weir, Levante Badalona’s María Llompart, and Athletic Club Femenino’s Nerea Nevado.
