Seven matches played in Nigeria professional football league saw away teams putting up a superlative displays.

 

The ere of home must win syndrome in NPFL is almost gone as four away wins and three away draws were recorded over the weekend.

 

River United stunned Lobi Stars with goal from Kabir Abdullahi

 

El-kanemi warriors beat hosts Nasarawa United on a seven goal thriller

 

Sodiq Ismail and Frank Mawuena’s goals were enough for Remo Stars to Kano Pillars in Kano

 

At the New Jos Stadium, former champions Plateau United lost 2-1 to Niger Tornadoes.

 

Niger Tornadoes led 2-0 through goals from Ifeanyi Okechukwu and Kufre Ebong,while Pam Samuel reduced the deficit for the home team.

 

Sunshine Stars drew with Abia warriors in Ijebu-ode while Ikorodu City played out a goaless draw with Kwara United in Ilorin.

 

Amunike’s Heartland FC are yet to win this season after playing a goaless draw at home with Katsina United.
