Ekiti State Government has appointed and unveiled Coach Akin Olowookere as the new head coach of Ekiti United while Coach Jacob Vandi was also unveiled as the head coach of Ekiti Queens
Akin Olowookere was previously the assistant coach of Sunshine Stars of Akure. He also served as Interim Head Coach in 2017, following Austin Eguavoen’s resignation
Jacob Vandi was previously the head coach of Adamawa United coach will take charge of the Ekiti Queens as they play in the top-flight Nigerian Women’s Football League (NWFL) season
The unveiling was done by Commissioner for Finance Akin Oyebode and Dr. (Mrs.) Olusola Osetoba, TA on Sports Development.
