Nigeria’s Favour Ofili finished sixth in the final of women’s 200m.
The 21-year old who made her Olympic appearance had an impressive shows at the heat and Semi-final races.
Ofili became the first Nigerian female athlete to qualify for women’s 200m final at the Olympic games since Mary Onyali won bronze medal at Atlanta 1996 Olympics.
Gabrielle Thomas of USA won the Gold while Julien Alfred of St Lucia and Brittany Brown of USA won Silver and bronze medals respectively
