Heartland FC of Owerri has unveiled Emmanuel Amunike as new head coach
Heartland FC was Relegated from Nigeria professional football league last season after a just season at the topflight.
Amunike was rumoured to be next Super Eagles head coach after the exit of Jose Peseiro but Finidi George was preferred by NFF hierarchies.
The 53-year old recent managerial stint was with the Egyptian club Misr Lel-Makkasa where he served until February 2021.
Some sources have speculated that Heartland FC might purchase Beyond Limits’ slot.
If both parties reach an agreement, Heartland FC will make a swift return to NPFL
