Nigeria’s Favour Ofili has qualified for the Semi-final of women’s 200m after winning heat six.
She won the heat in time of 22.24s
Big Olympic debut for her after missing out on the 100m.
Ofili defeated Great Britain’s Dina Asher-Smith who finished 2nd in 22.28s and Gina Bass-Bittaye 3rd in 22.84s.
Favour Ofili (22.24s) was the 2nd fastest overall in the six 200m heats this morning, with only Gabby Thomas(22.20s) running faster than her.
