Organizers Of Coal City International Cup Assure Of Top-notch Tournament

Organisers of the Coal City International Cup have assured that all arrangements are in place for the pre-season football tournament scheduled to hold from the 1st of August to the 11th at the Nnamdi Azikiwe, Stadium, Enugu.
The Managing Director of Ski-Hi Entertainment Ifeanyi Ogbu, has reiterated that all eight clubs have confirmed their participation in the first edition of the tournament.
“We still have the eight teams that have confirmed participation.”
“We have not changed or substituted any team. The high point of the Coal City International Cup is that three clubs are League Champions in their countries and others also did well last season.”
“We are ready to put in our best to bring out the potentials in all the eight clubs as they prepare for next season”.
Reigning NPFL champions, Rangers; 9-time league champions, Enyimba; 4-time league champions, Kano Pillars; and 2023/2024 league runners up, Remo Stars are the four Nigerian clubs that will take part in the football showpiece.
Corinthians of Brazil, FC Coton from Republic of Benin, 21 time and current Kenyan Champions Gor Mahia and FC Kallon from Sierra Leone are the foreign teams that are billed to be in Enugu for the event.
