Sunshine Stars of Akure assistant coach one kayode Julius has expressed his delight in Sunshine Stars’ relegation survival.
Sunshine Stars finished tenth position in the just concluded NPFL after an early string of poor results.
Coach Kayode Julius in a chat with Sportsgister thanks all relevant stakeholders for the support.
“I must confess it was thought season but we give glory to almighty God.
“I want to express my gratitude to Ondo state government and Ondo state Sports Commissioner Sake Yusuf Ogunleye.
“I equally appreciate the supporters’ club,Ondo state All-stars members,Ondo state SWAN, Referee association, ex-footballers association and Coaches Association for standing with Kennedy Boboye-led technical crew during the trying period
Coach Kayode who is an ex-international also thanked Ondo state FA,Ondo state Sports council and all sports lovers in the state.
He expressed optimism that next season Sunshine Stars will put a better performance.
