The 2024/2025 Nigeria Professional football league season has been slated to commence August 31st,2024, Sportsgister reports.
NPFL chairman Gbenga Elegbeleye announced the date on the body’s Facebook page.
Enugu Rangers won the 2023/2024 NPFL title last weekend.
The Enugu-based side smiled home with 150m with a continental ticket.
Remo Stars and Enyimba FC finished second and third respectively.
The quartet of Gombe united, Heartland FC,Doma united and Sporting Lagos dropped to NNL.
The new entrants are beyond Limits, Ikorodu City, El-kanemi warriors and Nasarawa united
