Bayelsa Queens Football Club is on break and will resume at a later date for the NWFL Premiership2024/25 season.

The Prosperity Girls went on the break on Monday 17 June, 2024, after the last game against Nasarawa Amazons in the round of 16 at this year’s President Federation Cup losing 4-5 on penalties after regulation time ended 1-1 weeks back.

The league will resume after the CAF Women’s Champions League.

Chairman Pastor Robin Angonimi Apreala has charged the player not to lose focus as they are on break and that they should be fit and sound mentally on resumption.

“It will not be an easy 2024/2025 NWFL Premiership season, so I urged you as you go on this break to be emotionally, physically and spiritually sound when we resume”, Apreala said.

Pastor Robin Angonimi Apreala added that his team will be fully prepared for next season’s league and that the technical crew has promised to work on the grey areas noticed in the out gone season.
