Fisayo Dele-Bashiru and Semi Ajayi face a race to be fit for Nigeria’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Benin Republic on Monday.
The duo sustained injuries in Friday’s 1-1 draw with the Bafana Bafana of South Africa.
Dele -Bashiru, who scored the Super Eagles only goal of the game was replaced by Alhassan Yusuf on 61 minutes.
West Bromwich Albion centre-back Ajayi was substituted 10 minutes from time after picking up a knock.
Raphael Onyedika took his place in the encounter.
The duo will be assessed by the Super Eagles medical crew ahead of the game.
Benin Republic will host the Super Eagles at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium, Abidjan on Monday.
