Nigeria’s Women U-20 team known as Falconets have been drawn in Group D alongside Germany, Korea Republic and Venezuela.
Nigeria will face Korea Republic in the opener
The FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup takes place in Colombia 31 August – 22 September 2024.
It will be the first iteration of the tournament with an expanded 24-team format.
Reigning champions Spain will be challenged by some of the world’s best young teams, while nations such as Fiji and Morocco are making their tournament debuts.
Marta, Megan Rapinoe, Asisat Oshoala and FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023™ star Salma Paralluelo are just some of the players to have shone at the youth tournament.
