Plateau State Football Association Life Time Achievement Awardees during the just concluded Barrister Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang Under-13 Cup, Dr. Alhassan Saleh Yakmut, Honourable Lumumba Dah Adeh and Professor Ishaya Pam have commended the Plateau State Football Association, ably led by Hon. Dr. Suleiman Yahaya Kwande for deeming it fit to honour some individuals that have written their names and the name of the state in gold due to their selfless service and contributions to the growth of sports in the State.

In the words of elated and impressed successful football administrator with the renowned but defunct JUTH FC, ran professionally and produced alot of great players, Prof. Dr. Ishaya Pam,: “I feel highly honored by the PFA, led by Hon. Suleiman Kwande, I can tell you that they are on the right path. I will enjoin them to continue with this youth development and concentrate on the academies and competitions like the Under-13 competition just held. This will go a long way in bringing back Plateau glory in our national teams. We should have some few players in the national Under-17 team soon and we build up from there. I think the PFA, led by Hon. Suleiman Yahaya Kwande have started well.”

On his own part, the astute,seasoned and results oriented former Director General of the National Sports Commission, Alhassan Saleh Yakmut, another recipient of Plateau State Football Association Life Time Achievement Award, said: “I’m highly elated with the award and further motivated to do more for State and country.”

He went ahead to advice the PFA: “My candid advice after appreciating the award is for the FA under the leadership of Hon. Suleiman Kwande to revolutionize the management and development of football in the State and make it an effective special purpose vehicle for youth empowerment and character moulding.”

It would be recalled that the Plateau State Football Association had earlier appreciated some players and administrators that made Plateau and Nigeria proud during the Governor’s Cup final in Mangu with awards and certificate presented to them by the Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang.
