Olayinka Olajide has won Nigeria’s first medal in athletics at the African Games in Accra, winning Bronze in the women’s 100m in a time of 11.55s.
Olayinka is one of Nigerian athletes that made their first senior international outing for the country.
Gina Bass upgraded Silver from Rabat 2019 to GOLD, clocking 11.36s (-1.5) to win from Maia McCoy in 11.49s.
