NNL: Mid Season Break, Osun Utd To Take Stock, Set To Rejig Squad

Following the mid season break announced by the the board of Nigeria National League, The management of Osun state representative in the second tier league, Osun Utd. and the Technical Crew are set to review the performances of the team so far, with a view to finding a lasting solutions to the observed errors.
Recall, Omoluabi Giants as they are fondly called muster fifteen points from 10 games and occupied 4th on the log in the Southern Conference.
‘Believe And Achieve’ side sets sights on promoting the team back to Nigeria Premier Football League, but understands how huge is it to qualify firstly for Super 8 at the end of the super abridge season.
In his mid season remark, the chairman of the team, Akin Maxwell believes there’s no going back from the mandate, with the commitment of the government and sports loving people of the state.
“The team has not performed badly because our group is widely open. The state government has really tried for the team with series of incentives, bonuses and upward review of take-home packages recently implemented.
“We have no excuse for failures because our number one supporter, His Excellency, Dr. Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke and his deputy, Prince Kola Adewusi didn’t joke with the team, that’s why myself and ever working members of the management are indebted to them.
“The management will definitely review first round activities tomorrow in a crucial meeting by 10am, the outcome of the meeting will go a long way in deciding our fate for second round. We have penciled down some players in our bid to fortify the squad and experienced players have started trooping in. The second round performances will be better”. Akin Maxwell assured.
