Stubborn Cynosure FC escapes the wrath of Olegacy FC in a 2-2 draw at Uyo.

In a pulsating match at the St Lawrence primary school field the two two who will be competing in The Nigerian Nationwide League One this season squared up with Cynosure FC being the clear favorite, however it was the home side Olegacy FC that made early incursion into the attacking third of Cynosure FC forcing the Cynosure FC goalkeeper into making some saves.

 

Olegacy FC’s teenage Charles Inok drew the first blood with a wonderful strike which beat the Cynosure FC goal tender and forced the Cynosure coaching cree to substitute their save hands.

 

Olegacy FC continued their impressive form through substitute midfielder Aniekeme Edem who fired in a long range shot, beating the new Cynosure FC goalkeeper in the first bar early on in the second half.

 

The Rivers state based team showed their experience when the pulled one back with beautifully taken free kick to bring the tally to 2-1.

 

It didn’t take long for Cynosure FC to score a second goal when Olegacy FC ‘s substitute defender otobong Brenda miss judged a long ball which beat him nearly and Olegacy FC’s Emediong Uduak who was in goal could not manage to save the resultant strike. FT score Olegacy FC 2-2 Cynosure FC
