AFCON: Nigeria Will Soon Crash Out If Peseiro Continues Defensive Approach-Coach Adedeji Adeyemi

Nigerians have started reacting to lacklustre shows of Super Eagles of Nigeria at the ongoing AFCON tournament in Cote D’Ivoire.

Among those that have reacted is an ex-stationery Stores Forward Adedeji Adeyemi.

Coach Adedeji Adeyemi chided Jose Peseiro for introducing an unfamiliar defensive approach to team.

His words: “I have said severally that Super Eagles of Nigeria have lots of talented footballers but our approaches to games most times affect our end results”.

“l am very critical of Super Eagles head coach Jose Peseiro who suddenly introduced a defensive pattern which we have not been used to”.

 

” Our guys couldn’t make correct passes and found it difficult to score goals”.

“3-4-3 formation is not bad game approach but it depends how it is being used”.

The head coach of Witikon FC of Switzerland urged Jose Peseiro to switch to offensive approach as knockout stages of AFCON loom

“l will enjoin our coach to switch to 4-3-3 approach, although he can still adopt defensive pattern with this formation but it gives more liberty to attack”.

“If Jose Peseiro sticks to that defensive approach,we might be crashed out soon”.

Coach Adeyemi urged Nigerians to keep supporting the team no matter the approach being adopted as prayer and hardwork lead to a better results
