IFC LEAGUE: Adeyemi FC Gears Up for First Clash Against Adewale SC

Adeyemi Football Club is set to showcase their readiness in the ongoing Ibadan Football Council league (IFC) as they prepare to face off against Adewale SC in the league’s inaugural match.

Coach Kolawole Emmanuel, popularly known as “Coach Drey,” expressed the team’s determination to exceed expectations and compete fiercely for the league title during an interview at the Club’s Secretariat in Oluyole, Ibadan.

“After securing the qualification ticket through spirited performances in the qualifiers, it’s time to demonstrate our capabilities to the world. The league is serious business, and we are fully prepared to approach it with determination,” emphasized Coach Drey.

He further highlighted that the recent unveiling of new players signifies the team’s full readiness for the upcoming 2024 football activities.

Club President, Mr. Abiodun Adeyemi, also known as “Baba Abe,” encouraged the entire team to excel in the league, stating, “You have everything you need; it’s up to you to perform well and make me proud. The IFC league is just one of the programs scheduled for 2024, and your performance will determine our next steps. I want the best from you, go there, win, as winning is the only language I’m interested in. Good luck, guys.”

Baba Abe urged the coaching crew to ensure positive outcomes and called on Adeyemi Football Club to kickstart their league journey with a victory as they face Adewale SC on Monday, January 22, 2024.
